M.S. Data Science
University of California, San Diego
Professionally, I'm a data engineer and decision scientist. Less formally, I've always been a data nerd with a passion for baseball.
ABOUT.TXTI've spent my career figuring out how things work, then trying to make them work a little better. That curiosity began with early database applications and HTML 3-era web pages, carried through enterprise systems and professional baseball data, and now drives my work in forecasting and decision science.
Baseball has always been the parallel track: watching the Braves on TBS with my great-grandmother, coaching for more than twenty years, beginning to umpire when my community needed officials, and continuing to play competitively.
Those parts of my life aren't separate boxes. Engineering taught me to build reliable systems. Teaching and coaching taught me to explain and lead. Umpiring taught me to decide and move forward. Baseball keeps giving me new questions worth studying.

My third season is in 2026, following a 2025 league championship and leading toward the 2026 MSBL World Series in Phoenix. It is personal context, not a professional credential—but it probably explains a lot.
